Holiday Hair Care Schedule for Perfect Holiday Hair
Great holiday hair begins long before the holidays. A professional cut and color will take time, plus, salons get busy around the holidays, so you want to give yourself plenty of time. We know you have a million other things to get ready for the holidays, so to make it a little easier for you, here is our suggestion for a holiday hair care schedule.
New Look for the Holidays
If you want to change up your look and your hair for the holidays -or just for yourself- we suggest that you begin at least 8 weeks before the holidays, especially if you are changing your color from dark to light. That means that you need to start at the end of October to have your hair ready for Christmas or New Year’s Eve.
Changing the Color of Your Hair
When you change your hair color, you may need to go to the salon a few times to get the right tone. If you are going from dark to light, from brunette to a blonde or redhead, it can take 2-3 sessions with a colorist to perfect the color. Whether you go from light to dark or vice-versa, anytime you make a dramatic change to your hair color, you may have to make a few adjustments. So, give yourself plenty of time to get it just right for those holiday photos.
Great Hair for Family Photos
The end of the year is a great time to take a family photo. To make sure your hair looks its absolute best, make an appointment at Ergun Tercan in Denver about a week before your photo shoot. If you’re getting a quick trim, you want to give your hair a few days to settle into the new look.
